Ich war bisher mit Barone Yachting sehr zufrieden und würde/werde deshalb auch voraussichtlich die nächste Charter wieder mit Barone vornehmen. Was das Thema Malta-Charter angeht kann ich allerdings nur ein Negativ-Urteil fällen. Dies betrifft aber weniger das Revier, als in erster Linie die Zustände in der Kalkara Marina und der Charter-Basis. Sicher ist die Basis durch eine Großbaustelle etwas beeinträchtigt, aber z.Bsp. zwei Duschen und zwei Toiletten sind eindeutig zu wenig.

Discounts: 5% repeaters (from 1 week), 5% 2 weeks, 10% 3 weeks, 15% 4 weeks, max. 30%.

Short charter: 5 days 80%, 4 days 65%, weekend (Friday 5pm - Monday 9pm) 55% of weekly rate.

Deposit / franchise: Payable on the spot via Visa card.

One-Way: Athens-Rhodes/Kos/Skiathos/Volos: €1000, Athens - Corfu/Lefkas: €1300, Athens-Paros/Mykonos: €600, Corfu-Lefkas/Paros-Mykonos: €500, Kos-Rhodes: €500, Mykonos/Paros-Rhodes/Kos: €1200. Free for charters of min. 2 wks, except those ending in August.

Check-In/Check-Out: Departure at 5 p.m. / Return at 9 a.m. (possible every day) Return the day before by 5 p.m. + overnight stay, early check-in (1 p.m.): on request (€250, catamarans €300).

Provisioning: Order the supplies for your yacht charter in Athens/Lavrio in the online shop of Yachtness. At the end of your order, specify the port and the name of the yacht - the food will be delivered directly to the ship for you.

Shopping possibility: Supermarkets near the marinas.
