Bemerkung !
Die andere Strecke (Fontenoy Leilh - Petite Saône) eingerechnet Restaurants und Marchés waren zum Großteil geschlossen - z.B. in Carre - (Jahreszeitlich bedingt) bzw. nicht mehr vorhanden. Sollte aktualisiert werden !

Das Fahrgebiet ist sehr schön. Jedoch gibt es kaum, bzw. keine Möglichkeiten außerhalb den völlig überteunerten Yachthäfen festzumachen / zu übernachten.
Das gleiche gilt auch für Schleusen / Brücken. Auch die Öffnungszeiten sind unnmöglich geregelt, ebenso die Regelung, dass immer vorher angerufen werden muss. Wir würden nicht mehr in dises Fahrgebiet reisen !

| Region Info: Along the Rideau canal there are a variety of moorings for your houseboat: private marinas, city harbors and "Parks Canada" berths (at the lock gates). For Le Boat customers a mandatory fee of € 115 per week (€ 80 for short breaks) is charged. This includes overnight accommodation at all "Parks Canada" moorings, Le Boat bases as well as in the city ports of Portland, Perth and Westport (excluding shore power and other services). | Options: Fuel incl. oil and additives is charged at a flat rate per operating hour (approx. €11 - €30/h). Bicycles: from €56 per week. | Deposit / franchise: A deposit for the boat and equipment, as well as an operating costs deposit (for diesel, gas, oil) of €460 (CA$300 for less than a week, €725 for more than 15 days) must be paid on site. The deposit for the boat can be reduced by taking out deposit insurance (not insured: intent, gross negligence, personal property of the charterer). Depending on the type of boat, this costs between €32 and €66 per night. The reduced deposit is then between CA$435 and CA$1560. The operating costs deposit must still be paid. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Check-out: Generally the boats have to be brought back clean. Is the boat brought back unclean, the hirer has the right to ask a cleaning flat rate of €125 - €210, depending on the category of the boat. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Check-In/Check-Out: Takeover from 2pm, return by 9am. For a surcharge of €110-140, depending on the type of boat, the boat can be taken over at 11am or returned at 12 noon - except for Vision boats. This is subject to reconfirmation by the base. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
