Cocktail Malta
In the previous summer many people might have thought of starting to sail. Therefore Barone Yachting gives the opportunity to first-timers to smell the air of the sea in early and post season with specialised cabin cruises. On a one week cabin cruise around Malta for example. The journey begins in the romantic capital Valletta and continues eastward to Marsaxlokk for a visit to the popular Sunday market. The blue grotto is visited on day three. This natural phenomenon can only be seen from the sea, hence it is time to get out the dinghy. With it the caves are discovered, in which the rippling of the water and the shimmering light create a magic atmosphere. Popeye fans will be elated on day four, when 'Popeye village' where the film has been shot in 1979 is visited. Then the course is directed to Comino which lies between Malta and its sister Gozo. Here lies the Blue Lagoon, a blue glittering dream. Clever are those who visit this place of-season when the locality is not as crowded. Fifth Day: Gozo is circled entirely in one day. On the sixth day the journey is slowly coming to and end when heading towards St. Georges Bay in St. Julians. Party-people know what that means: celebrating on the party-mile Paceville! The seventh day is a sad one because of the expected farewell from the island and the sailor's life.
Route plans are subject to change depending on wind and weather conditions. Comfortable evenings in the bays, ample breakfast and relaxation however are not.
The Malta cocktails costs 800 Euro per person in a double cabin on a modern cruising catamaran or yacht. In the price included are skipper, hostess and full board. Fifty Euros are to be paid once proportionately for fuel and berthing fees.
