In order to make historical and cultural Malta more famous, Barone Yachting offers special bareboat and cabin-cruise prices until September. The berth costs 800 Euro per week on new Dufour 50, the new sailing yacht with six cabins for only 4000 Euro instead of 5000. Malta is easily reachable and very cheap. Arabic, oriental, Italian and English influences left their traces on the island. The British ruling around 1800 still leaves an advantage for sailors today: English is almost colloquial.
About 60 miles from Sicily Malta and its sister Islands Gozo and Comino attract with their wind and mild temperature even in low season.
