To enable you to plan a charter trip even more flexibly, Pantaenius Charter Insurance now provides individually combinable modules. This replaces the charter insurance packages with immediate effect.

Maximum trip duration, maximum crew size as well as the maximum sums insured in the skipper liability insurance, trip cancellation insurance and deposit insurance have been significantly increased in order to be able to insure long trips and complex crew constellations without any problems.

Another new feature is the possibility to insure spontaneous rentals of small boats, dinghies and jet skis as well as cabin charters or hotel stays immediately following charter trips.

The insurance modules of the well-known Pantaenius charter packages will also be retained in the future. When insuring a charter trip or a holiday trip including charter or excursion on a rented boat, the following insurance solutions are thus available:

Trip Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance:
Reimburses the contractually owed cancellation costs for the charter trip in the event of cancellation/abandonment/absence of the non-commercial skipper. In case of cancellation of one or more crew members, their share.
Optional: Insurance of insolvency or bankruptcy of the provider.

Security deposit insurance:
Covers the full or partial retention of the deposit amount for the boat. Of course, Pantaenius also covers the justified and unjustified retention of the deposit.

Skipper liability insurance:
Covers the legal liability risks of skipper and crew if another liability insurance does not step in and covers, for example, personal injuries or costs incurred if a follow-up charter cannot be carried out due to damage caused.

Overseas travel health insurance:
Protects skipper and crew in the event of illness and covers the costs of
treatment, medication and medically arranged return transport.

Accident insurance:
Protects skipper and crew in the event of disability or death due to an accident.
