Wir hatten einen Super Törn in der Karibik! Beim Schnorcheln in den Tobago-Cays mit der Familie, frischgefangenem Hummer auf dem BBQ am Strand und viel Sonne wird man gerne 60! Es war wirklich herrlich. Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung und beim „Beruhigen“ meiner Sicherheitsbedenken. Vorsicht ist sicher geboten dort, aber es ging alles wunderbar. Anbei unser Feedback-Bogen, entsprechend positiv. Und Jean-Marc ist wirklich super. Sehr freundlich, kompetent, höflich, informativ… ich freue mich, ihn im Dezember wiederzusehen bei der Rückführung der Brandice.

Region Info: The Seychelles authorities do accept practical qualifications from foreign countries, if these are translated into English.
We do however recommend that you apply for the ICC (International Certificate of Competence) to avoid any issues of validity.
This can usually be done with your national sailing authority.
Included: outboard engine, bedding + linen, towels, first and last night at VPM-pontoon.

Extras: Payable locally: SMSA Handling Fee: ca. €25.
Landing fee, on islands you can only pay with € or US-$. Environmental levy approx. €8 per person per night.
Options: payable with contract: Skipper (Inner islands) €180/day + food supply, Skipper (Amirantes) €210/day + food supply, (Skipper only bookable in combination with cook or Deckhand). Cook/steward/Deckhand (inner islands) €150/day + food supply; Cook/steward/Deckhand (amirantes) €180/day + food supply. Payable on spot: kayak (1 pers.) €20/day (+ €200 refundable deposit), stand up paddle €20/day, fishing gear €15/day, endcleaning optional: (security for the end cleaning costs to be deposited on spot) cat until 40' €240, 41'-45' €260, 46' and more €300, service fee for filling up fuel tanks: fuel costs + €100 surcharge, extra set linen/towels €15/person.
Discounts: 14-20 days 5%, starting from 21 days 10%, 5% repeater discount, 5% boatshow, max. discount 15%
Check-In/Check-Out: Daily from 13:00h/8:00h.
Deposit / franchise: to be deposited on spot: in cash or Visa-/Mastercard. If client pays by creditcard the relevant bank should be informed about the transaction. If credit card is refused at embarkation, client is obliged to book damage waiver. For bookings longer than 2 weeks the deposit needs to be transferred to our account prior departure.
Damage waiver: Payable with contract: €35/day for all yachts (min. €245/Charter). Mandatory for charter with skipper, rest deposit €650 up to 45', €800 46'-50'. The damagewaiver has to be ordered with the bookingconfirmation and is not bookable on spot.
One-Way: Payable with contract: Mahé > Praslin or La Digue € 300.
Transfer: One way: Mahé Airport - VPM Base (paid on spot): €50 up to 4 persons, €75 up to 6 persons, €100 up to 8 persons, more than 8 persons on request.
Provisioning: Full board recommended (without alc. beverage): (1 - 5 pers.) € 60/pers/day, starting from 6 pers. € 50/pers./day.
Shopping possibility: In Mahé supermarket and market, limited opportunities on islands.
Languages spoken at base: English, French.
